Ashlyn Hoggard Everett
Ashlyn is an attorney at Reeves Law Firm.
Ashlyn was born and raised in Batesville, Arkansas. She graduated from Batesville High School in 2014 and decided to begin her college career right here in her hometown. She graduated from the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville in 2016 with an associate’s degree where she served as a student ambassador and Student Government Association President. Ashlyn took a sabbatical year before finishing her bachelor’s degree and attended the Disney College Program in Orlando, Florida. After completing her internship, she returned to Arkansas to finish her studies. Ashlyn graduated from Arkansas State University in 2019 earning a political science degree with a pre-law focus. She is a proud Alpha Omicron Pi alum. While in college, Ashlyn worked in a family law and environmental law firm as a legal assistant. Ashlyn also founded and served as the inaugural president of the Turning Point USA - Arkansas State University chapter.
After college, Ashlyn moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where she worked as a paralegal for two years. Her legal experience in Memphis includes subrogation and personal injury.
Ashlyn then moved back to Arkansas where she attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock – William H. Bowen School of Law. During her time in law school, she took advantage of many opportunities. She was a member of several student organizations as well as President of Bowen Young Republicans. She worked many pro bono hours outside of the classroom and during her on-campus clinic as a Rule XV law student. Ashlyn gained experience in many different areas of law during this time. She first clerked for a non-profit organization that provides legal services to low-income families. She then clerked for the Little Rock City Attorney where she spent most of her time working on FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) related matters. Ashlyn’s longest running and favorite experience was her research fellowship with the National Agricultural Law Center. There, she focused on agricultural and environmental law related issues by doing research, creating resources, attending agricultural law conferences, and publishing a bi-weekly newsletter. Her love for agriculture sparked during her time as an FFA member in high school, and she hopes to provide legal counsel to the local agriculture industry.
Ashlyn is very excited to be back in her hometown and to serve her community. She is married to her favorite hobby stock racecar driver, Hunter, and they have four fur babies together: Dachshund, Allie; Labrador Retriever, Smoke; and two cats, Melly and Tito. In her free time, Ashlyn loves to hang out with her family, enjoy Greers Ferry Lake, hunt with her husband, and go to the races!
